The budget is tight because you shopped day and night. Your credit card is yawning and the snow is falling. You're out of holiday joy. The wrapping paper is done. Let's make a list to get back into fun.
6. Start planning your next event. Nothing gets me out of a slump like getting excited about an upcoming party or vacation.
5. Go to the library for fun. Get lost in a fictional world and forget about running out of holiday cheer.
4. Play with your new toys! Did you get a new high tech gadget, or maybe a video game or two? Don't let them sit in the box under the tree.
3. Go sledding! If you have enough snow, hit the slopes at a nearby park for free. If you don't have snow, check out a local ice rink for public skating hours for usually no more than a few dollars.
2. Get back to work or a hobby. Holidays derail the normal routine, so get right back into it! I love my job so this may not apply to everyone. Get back into your hobbies if your job stinks.
1. Spend your gift cards or cash! This is my favorite after holidays activity. Most retailers have fantastic sales and I've got free money to spend so why the heck not.
